We're in for a lot of rain in the Pacific Northwest with an atmospheric river drenching the area. Expect steady heavy rain in Seattle, WA and Portland, OR. Heavy snow, more than a foot, will blanket the northern Rockies. Flash flooding could occur near coastal areas and in the Cascades, so stay alert!

Midwest and Great Lakes - Tuesday and Wednesday

A swift-moving system called a 'clipper' will bring snow and strong winds to the Midwest and the Great Lakes. Snowfall could reach 4 to 8 inches in places like Fargo, ND and Detroit, MI.
