...Heavy Rain Likely In Parts of Central and South Central Nebraska Overnight Into Tuesday Morning... * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Portions of central, east central, and south central Nebraska, including the following counties, in central Nebraska, Greeley, Howard, Merrick, Nance, Sherman and Valley. In east central Nebraska, Polk and York. In south central Nebraska, Buffalo, Dawson, Gosper, Hall, Hamilton, Kearney and Phelps. * WHEN...From 7 PM CDT this evening through early Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will affect much of central and south central Nebraska this evening and overnight, with one final round of storms expected to track across the area from west-to-east mainly between 9 AM and 1 PM Tuesday. While total rainfall amounts will surely vary considerably across the area, confidence is increasing in widespread totals between 1 and 3 inches, with as much as 3 to 5 inches possible in a narrow swath or two if storms continue training over the same places. * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Iowa, including the following areas, Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, Ida, O'Brien and Woodbury and northeast Nebraska, including the following area, Dakota. * WHEN...From 1 AM CDT Tuesday through Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At least a couple rounds of rainfall are expected, the first Monday night and an additional one Tuesday afternoon. Rainfall amounts may exceed 2 inches in some areas which may result in isolated to scattered flash flooding, and more commonly, ponding of water in urban and poor drainage areas. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Portions of Iowa, including the following counties, Harrison, Monona, Pottawattamie and Shelby, and portions of Nebraska, including the following counties, Boone, Burt, Butler, Colfax, Cuming, Dodge, Douglas, Madison, Platte, Sarpy, Saunders, Stanton, Thurston, Washington and Wayne. * WHEN...From 10 PM CDT this evening through Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of heavy precipitation is expected with an increasing potential for training thunderstorms to develop after midnight. A second round of heavy rain is expected Tuesday late morning and afternoon. * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of southwest Nebraska, including the following counties, Dundy, Hitchcock and Red Willow. * WHEN...From 6 PM MDT /7 PM CDT/ this evening through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Up to 3 inches of rain fell across Hitchcock and Red Willow counties between late Saturday night and Sunday morning. Soils are saturated and susceptible to flooding. Additional rainfall amounts Tonight of 1 to 3 inches are possible as a cluster of thunderstorms moves through the area. Dundy county will see the initial surge of moisture from these storms, making areas along/near Highway 34 very prone to flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
