At 714 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles northeast of Needmore, or 11 miles south of Muleshoe, moving east at 5 mph. Earlier, this storm produced ping pong ball size hail 5 miles west of Sudan. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Public. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Sudan and Needmore.

At 715 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Seguin to near Nixon to near Hochheim, moving south at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... At 711 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Cross Cut, or 21 miles south of Cisco, moving southwest at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
