SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Johnstown, Westmont, Windber, Ebensburg, Belmont, Nanty-Glo, Portage, Geistown, Southmont, Cresson, Gallitzin, and Vinco. Radar has indicated rotation within this severe thunderstorm. Although a tornado is not immediately likely, tornadoes can develop quickly during severe thunderstorms. This includes The Pennsylvania Turnpike from mile markers 100 to 105.

At 312 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Derry, or 9 miles east of Latrobe, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
