Sugar River At Brodhead affecting Rock, Winnebago and Green Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Fox River Lower near New Munster. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Floodwaters begin to affect 77th St. in the Town of Wheatland. Pecatonica River At Martintown affecting Green County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Pecatonica River at Martintown. * WHEN...From Friday morning to early Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 13.5 feet, Floodwaters affect Martintown Road and West River Road in the Martintown area. Upstream in Browntown, floodwaters affect highway MM and West Indies Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 13.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 13.6 feet early tomorrow afternoon. Downstream in the Avon Bottoms area of Rock County, there is flooding in Sugar River Park. Some roads are flooded in Avon Township,including Beloit Newark Rd, about 6 miles downstream of Brodhead. In Illinois, Winslow Rd is threatened near the river between Durand and Shirland. Minor erosional flood damage occurs to lowland and agricultural land adjacent to the river the Afton and Janesville areas.
