* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Savannah River near Clyo. * WHEN...From late tonight to Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, the back yards of several homes on Tom Goethe Road flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 815 PM EST Sunday, the stage was 10.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Monday morning to a crest of 11.3 feet Monday evening. It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday evening. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

* WHAT...Major flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Edisto River near Givhans Ferry. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, major flooding occurs as the entire flood plain is inundated from Canadys to Highway 17. Extensive damage occurs to homes and cabins throughout this area and most river access roads are impassable. Flooding will also impede travel as portions of major roadways are closed to traffic including Parkers Ferry Road, Camp Buddy Road, and Wire Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 830 PM EST Sunday, the stage was 7.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Monday morning and continue rising to a crest of 15.5 feet Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of central South Carolina, including the following counties, Bamberg and Orangeburg. * WHEN...Until 200 PM EST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 725 PM EST, emergency management reported ongoing flooding across the warned area. Between 6 and 12 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... mainly rural areas of Northeastern Bamberg and South Central Orangeburg Counties - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring along the Edisto River between Canadys and Branchville. * WHERE...A portion of southeast South Carolina, including the following counties, Colleton and Dorchester. * WHEN...Until 700 AM EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Flooding is occurring along the Edisto River and its tributaries, inundation of low-lying roads, water access points, and homes is likely. Colleton County Emergency Manager reported water in roadway along the 100 block of Biscayne Court and along the 500 block of Salcro Lane. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 804 AM EST, emergency management reported ongoing flooding across the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Areas adjacent to the Edisto River from Canadys northwest to the county line with Orangeburg County and Bamberg County.
