At 1014 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles north of Mondovi, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Eau Claire around 1030 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include Rock Falls and Caryville. This includes Interstate 94 in Wisconsin between mile markers 60 and 67.

Air Quality Alert

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has issued an Air Quality Advisory for Ozone which will remain in effect until 11:00 PM CDT tonight. This advisory affects people living in the following counties: Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan. Due to weather conditions conducive for ozone, the air quality index is expected to reach the UNHEALTHY FOR SENSITIVE GROUPS level. People with lung disease (such as asthma), children, older adults, and people who are active outdoors (including outdoor workers) should reduce prolonged or heavy outdoor exertion.
