Pearl River Near Pearl River affecting Pearl River, Hancock and St. Tammany Counties. For the Lower Pearl River...including Bogalusa, Pearl River...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Pearl River near Bogalusa. * WHEN...Until Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 18.5 feet, Woodlands and crop acreage along the river will be flooded. The Bogue Chitto Wildlife Management area will be inundated with water in recreational camps and over access roads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 18.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late Saturday morning and continue falling to 11.6 feet Saturday, March 29. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

For the Lower Pearl River...including Bogalusa, Pearl River...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Pearl River near Pearl River. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 15.5 feet, Secondary roads to the river and throughout Honey Island Swamp are inundated. Property in the vicinity of the gage is flooded threatening about 20 homes along the left bank. Mississippi River At Natchez affecting Wilkinson, Adams and Concordia Counties. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Mississippi River at Natchez. * WHEN...Until Friday, April 04. * IMPACTS...At 43.0 feet, Water covers Thornburg Lake Road in the area known as Anna's Bottom which is north of Natchez. Also, Lake Mary Road is under water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 37.3 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall to 35.7 feet early Saturday afternoon. It will then rise to 43.1 feet Friday, March 28. It will fall to 37.1 feet Sunday, April 06. It will then rise to 38.2 feet Thursday, April 10. It will fall again and remain below flood stage. - Action stage is 38.0 feet. - Flood stage is 48.0 feet.
