* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Snow accumulations 15 to 20 inches above 8,500 feet conceivable. Total snow 10 to 15 inches from 7,500 feet to 8,500 feet possible. Snow accumulations 5 to 10 inches from 6,500 feet to 7,500 feet conceivable. * WHERE...Ruby Mountains and East Humboldt Range in Elko County. * WHEN...From this afternoon through Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...Snow covered roads are expected on State Route 229 through Secret Pass, up into Lamoille Canyon, and across Harrison Pass in the southern end of the Ruby Mountains.

* CHANGES...Increased snowfall totals along the highest peaks. Added accumulations down to 6000 ft. * WHAT...Snow above 7000 ft. Snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches with up to 12 inches along the highest peaks. Minor accumulations of up to 2 inches possible down to 6000 ft. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph. * WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area. * WHEN...From 8 AM PDT Saturday to 7 AM PST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heaviest snowfall expected late Saturday night.
