US Snow - Snow Alert: San Juans Brace for Light Flurries
We're expecting some light snow in the San Juans tonight, keeping things chilly for those at high altitudes in Colorado. While the snow might not be heavy, it's still a wintery reminder that we can expect through Thursday. After this, things should clear up for the weekend.
Snowfall in the San Juans, Colorado
Day 1: This evening, some light snow will continue over the San Juans due to lingering energy from a departing weather system. After midnight, expect it to taper off. Those at an elevation above 11,000 feet could see an additional 4 inches of snow, though it's not very likely—only a 10-40% chance. By Thursday morning, the skies should start to clear.
Days 2-3: Moving into the weekend, from Friday to Saturday, the snow chances drop significantly, with less than a 10% chance of getting 4 inches or more.
