...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF CHARLESTON, COLLETON AND DORCHESTER COUNTIES... At 843 PM EDT, National Weather Service doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Walterboro to near Ashepoo, and moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...strong winds 45 to 55 mph and up to penny sized hail.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR PORTIONS OF CHARLESTON AND BERKELEY COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 845 PM EDT... The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore the warning will be allowed to expire. However heavy rain is still possible with this thunderstorm.
