* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central South Carolina, including the following county, Aiken. * WHEN...Until 145 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1038 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Aiken, Aiken Mall, New Ellenton, Citizens Park, Aiken Municipal Airport, Aiken State Park, USC Aiken, Windsor, Hopeland Gardens and Aiken Gopher Tortoise Heritage Preserve. - This includes Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 15 and 26. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Lumber River Near Lumberton affecting Robeson County. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in South Carolina... Little Pee Dee River At Galivants Ferry affecting Horry and Marion Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Little Pee Dee River at Galivants Ferry. * WHEN...From Sunday morning to early Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, flood waters will affect residential yards in the Fork Retch community upstream of Galivants Ferry near the town of Nichols. Swampland and natural boat landings will be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 8.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.0 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet. - weather.gov/safety/flood
