At 816 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Summit to near Kentwood to near Denham Springs. Movement was east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Baton Rouge, Hammond, Mccomb, Denham Springs, Franklinton, Amite, Ponchatoula, Walker, Amite City, Magnolia, Kentwood, Livingston, Summit, Independence, Tylertown, Roseland, Albany, Springfield, Osyka, and Montpelier. This includes the following Interstates... Interstate 12 between mile markers 6 and 45. Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 25 and 66. Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 1 and 24.
