* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by snowmelt continues. * WHERE...Moose Creek, Trooper Creek and other small streams in Glennallen. * WHEN...Until noon AKDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Snowmelt flooding will continue to inundate the areas along the Glenn Highway. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - 10:40 AM Saturday morning: Water flow from Moose Creek and Trooper Creek could impact travel on the Glenn Highway. Flooding was ongoing in Glennallen, especially along the north side of the Glenn Highway from Moose Creek to Mt Sanford Drive. - An additional quarter-inch to third-of-an-inch of rainfall is expected in Glennallen Sunday night which may increase water levels Sunday night and Monday. - Http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood - If you live near or along the creeks and streams in Glennallen stay alert and be prepared to take action to move property to higher ground.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam continues. * WHERE...Kuskokwim River near Kalskag. * WHEN...Until 1030 AM AKDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...As of Saturday morning, flooding was reported due to an ice jam on the Kuskokwim River below Kalskag. The jam was impounding water and causing rises on the Kuskokwim River in Kalskag as well as along Mud Creek around the back of Kalskag. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 915 AM AKDT, Water was reported over the road that connects Upper and Lower Kalskag, closing the road to traffic. Expect water levels to fluctuate until the ice jam releases. - Http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood - If you live near or along the Kuskokwim River, stay alert and be prepared to take action.

Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Warm temperatures are leading to rapid snowmelt along and near the Tanana River including the Rosie Creek subdivision. * WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt continues. * WHERE...Tanana River near Rosie Creek Subdivision. * WHEN...Until 945 AM AKDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...As of Friday morning, water was encroaching on some roads in the Rosie Creek neighborhood. Residents should be aware of rising groundwater levels and move belongings to higher ground. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2 AM AKDT, Groundwater levels in the Rosie Creek neighborhood are high due to snowmelt and high river levels on the Tanana. Ground water will stay high or increase with the Tanana over the next week. - For Tanana River at Fairbanks: At 1:15am the stage was 25.24 feet. * WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam continues to be possible. * WHERE...Circle * WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS...The Yukon broke up at Eagle Friday afternoon, and the breakup front is now at the Tatonduk River. Residents of Circle should be aware that the breakup front is approaching, and it will likely be in Circle between Sunday afternoon and Monday afternoon. Water levels in Eagle during breakup were within bank, so the ingredients for a major or catastrophic flood like last year are not present. However as the breakup front moves downstream, it is likely that small jams may form and release, leading to fluctuating water levels and potential minor or moderate flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Http://www.weather.gov/aprfc - If you live near or along the Yukon River stay alert and be prepared to take action.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt continues to be possible. * WHERE...Tanana River from Salcha to Fairbanks. * WHEN...Through Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. As of Friday morning, the Tanana at Fairbanks is near bankful, with water levels rising upstream at Big Delta. The Tanana will continue to rise with increasing temperatures; highest daily stages will be in the late afternoon/early evening and lowest daily stages in the morning. Sustained southeasterly winds 25 to 30 mph are expected with possible gusts as high as 50 mph. Blowing dust may reduce visibility below 2 miles at times. Winds subside Friday night but resume to previous levels by noon on Saturday. Winds should finally decrease below 10 mph Saturday before midnight.

Areas of flooding will be possible as snowmelt continues across the Copper River Basin, causing rapid rises on local rivers and streams through the weekend. * WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt continues to be possible. * WHERE...The following area, Copper River Basin. This includes the cities of Glennallen, Eureka, Mccarthy, Paxson, And Slana. * WHEN...Through Monday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Snowmelt flooding continues across portions of the Copper River Basin. Daytime high temperatures in the 50s, with nighttime lows above freezing at most locations, will continue to melt snow cover across the region, especially at higher elevations. * WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam is possible. * WHERE...The following area, Aniak * WHEN...Through Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...Water levels will fluctuate as the ice front moves through Thursday and Friday. Residents should be prepared for high water and flooding if a jam develops. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - As of midday Thursday, ice is running at and above Aniak. River-watch reconnaissance shows that ice is still in place at Birch Crossing, downstream of Aniak. There is a potential for an ice jam to form at Birch Crossing Thursday afternoon or evening, which could cause flooding at Aniak. As of 11am Thursday the river was mostly clear of ice above Chuathbaluk. Ice jam flooding has high uncertainty. Impacts could range between localized high water and severe flooding. Now is the time to take precautions. Where possible, move items to higher ground and prepare your community for possible flooding. - Http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood - If you live near or along the Kuskokwim River near Aniak stay alert and be prepared to take action.
