At 955 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Pickwick to near Bush to 11 miles southwest of Madisonville. Movement was east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Slidell, Bogalusa, Picayune, Covington, Poplarville, Diamondhead, Pearl River, Abita Springs, Varnado, Madisonville, Sun, Kiln, Pearlington, Lacombe, Crossroads, Stennis Space Center, Bush, Mcneil, Angie, and Slidell Airport. This includes the following Interstates... Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 260 and 273. Interstate 10 in Mississippi between mile markers 1 and 13. Interstate 12 between mile markers 61 and 84. Interstate 59 in Louisiana between mile markers 1 and 11. Interstate 59 in Mississippi between mile markers 1 and 42.
