* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations between 4 and 10 inches, with higher amounts above pass level. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE...East Glacier Park Region Zone. * WHEN...Until noon MDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult and tire chains may be required for some vehicles. Those in the backcountry should ensure they have appropriate knowledge and gear and may want to consider alternate plans. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The worst roadway impacts will occur during the overnight and morning hours. The heavy wet snow may cause isolated power outages.

Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. * WHERE...Cascade County below 5000ft and Judith Basin County and Judith Gap. * WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to noon MDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday morning commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Localized snow amounts around 6 inches will be possible between Belt and Geyser. The worst roadway impacts will occur during the overnight and morning hours. The heavy wet snow may cause isolated power outages.

Those in the backcountry should ensure they have appropriate knowledge and gear and may want to consider alternate plans. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow amounts over Bozeman Pass look to be less than an inch or so. The worst roadway impacts further north will occur during the overnight and morning hours.
