Central Raleigh County in southeastern West Virginia... * WHEN...Until 230 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1126 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Beckley, Mount Hope, Piney View, Stanaford, Prosperity, Bradley, Beaver, Daniels and Macarthur. - This includes the following highways... Route 19 between mile markers 1 and 4. North Central Mason County in western West Virginia... * WHEN...Until 900 AM EDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Significant flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads still remain closed due to significant flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 821 PM EDT, Department of highways reported numerous roads that were flooded in the warned area due to heavy rain from earlier thunderstorms.
