At 839 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Donahue to Blue Grass. Movement was east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Strong winds could break small tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Davenport, Moline, Rock Island, Bettendorf, Clinton, East Moline, Silvis, Eldridge, Colona, Camanche, Le Claire, Fulton, Hampton, Port Byron, Walcott, Erie, Blue Grass, Buffalo, Garden Plain, and Rapids City. This includes the following highways... Interstate 74 in Iowa between mile markers 1 and 5. Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 282 and 306. Interstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 1 and 7. Interstate 74 in Illinois between mile markers 1 and 3. Interstate 88 between mile markers 1 and 19. Interstate 280 between mile markers 1 and 11.

Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches in a short time are possible. With soils saturated from previous rainfall, this will lead to an increased risk of flash flooding.
