The combination of southwesterly winds gusting 25 to 35 mph, afternoon relative humidity values falling to 20 to 25 percent, and fuel moistures falling under 10 percent will lead to an increased threat for fire spread. The strongest winds will occur north and west of I-55. Exercise caution with any materials that may cause fire starts.

River levels will steadily fall in the coming days with only light precipitation amounts in the forecast. Flooding will come to an end along much of the remaining areas of the White and Wabash rivers in the next 12-24 hours, with flooding along the Wabash from Hutsonville downstream ending by Wednesday. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Terre Haute. * WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 16.5 feet, Flood waters begin to enter the two breaks in the Honey Creek Levee maintained by the Honey Creek Levee Association. These two breaks occurred during the April 2013 flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 PM EDT Sunday /7:30 PM CDT Sunday/ the stage was 16.7 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:30 PM EDT Sunday /7:30 PM CDT Sunday/ was 18.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage late tonight to 10.7 feet Friday evening.
