At 331 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles west of Clinton, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Clinton, Roseboro, Salemburg, Turkey, and Autryville.

At 331 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Smiths, or 10 miles east of Lumberton, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Bladen Community College around 335 AM EDT. Elizabethtown and Ruskin around 400 AM EDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include Dublin, Tar Heel, and Bladen County Hospital.

* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents. * WHERE...The beaches north of Cape Hatteras. * WHEN...From Saturday morning through Saturday evening. * IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The most likely time for strong rip currents to occur is a couple hours either side of low tide, which will occur around noon Saturday.
