At 146 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Samson, or 13 miles southeast of Opp, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Enterprise, Samson, Kinston, Coffee Springs, Perry Store, Lytle, Lucile, Marl, Ino, Turner Crossroads, Logan Field Municipal A/P, Goodman, Basin, Enterprise Municipal A/P, Earlytown, Hacoda, Spears, Pera, Alberton, and Sellersville.

The next statement will be issued when updates occur. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Tombigbee River near Leroy. * WHEN...From this afternoon to tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, flooding of low lying farm and pasturelands begins. Cattle in low lying areas should be moved to higher ground. Water approaches low lying roads on west side of river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 23.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 24.2 feet just after midnight tonight.
