Locally strong and gusty southwesterly winds will develop this evening and persist into the early morning hours on Tuesday. Wind speeds of 20-30 mph and gusts up to 40-50 mph are expected along the Buffalo Ridge in southwest Minnesota. The strong winds can impact high profile vehicles traveling through this area tonight. Isolated patches of blowing snow is possible where there is remaining snow on the ground.
