For the Withlacoochee River...including Valdosta (Skipper Bridge Rd), Quitman (US 84), Pinetta (CR 150)...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring, but is expected to drop below minor flooding by this afternoon. * WHERE...Withlacoochee River near Quitman (US 84). * WHEN...Until late this evening. * IMPACTS...At 104.0 feet, In Lowndes County, Spook Bridge Lane begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 AM EDT Friday the stage was 104.2 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 AM EDT Friday was 106.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late this morning and continue falling to 94.3 feet Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 104.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 104.5 feet on 04/22/1947. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Additional information is available at https://water.weather.gov/ahps2/forecasts.php?wfo=jax. The next statement will be issued Saturday morning at 930 AM EDT. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Alapaha River at Statenville. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 92.0 feet, Griner Road in Mayday begins to flood. This isolates 10 homes in the area. Flooding along the road subsides 2 to 3 days after the river crests in Statenville or when the river falls below 96 feet. At 100.0 feet, The boat ramp near the gauge and adjacent parking lot are flooded. At 103.0 feet, Homes along the river in Statenville and Griner Road become inundated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 AM EDT Friday the stage was 100.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 101.4 feet early Monday morning. - Flood stage is 100.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
