Southwestern Talladega County in east central Alabama... * Until 200 PM CDT. * At 1053 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen over the last hour based on radar estimates. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have already fallen across portions of the advisory area. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to locally 2 inches are expected over the area through noon.
