At 643 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 22 miles northwest of Craig, moving northeast around 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Great Divide, Fortification, and Sunbeam. This includes the following highways... Colorado 13 between mile markers 109 and 127. Colorado 318 between mile markers 45 and 58.

This also includes the Gold Mountain, Elk and Ferris burn scars as well as areas of steep, susceptible terrain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Recent heavy rainfall in southwest Colorado has led to already saturated ground.
