North winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph expected. Strongest winds are expected across the northern and central Sacramento Valley along and west of Interstate 5. * Humidity...15 to 25 percent * Highest Threat...Northern and central Sacramento Valley along and west of Interstate 5. * Impacts...The combination of gusty winds and low humidity can cause fire to rapidly grow in size and intensity. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Levels of particle pollution can vary by time and location depending on emissions and local weather conditions. * WHEN... from 4 PM Wednesday until 6 AM Friday. * IMPACTS... Particle pollution can get deep into the lungs and cause serious health problems such as asthma attacks, heart and lung disease symptoms, and increased risk of lung infections. Everyone can be affected, but sensitive groups such as people with lung or heart disease, older adults, people who are pregnant, children, and those who spend a lot of time outdoors are at greater risk.
