* WHAT...South winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph expected. * WHERE...Lakes and waterways in of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast Missouri. * WHEN...From 10 AM CDT /11 AM EDT/ this morning to 6 PM CDT /7 PM EDT/ this evening. * IMPACTS...Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The most challenging conditions will likely develop on large lakes with north south orientation like Rend Lake, Lake Barkley, and Kentucky Lake.

Minor flooding is expected to continue along portions of the White River through mid-late week. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...White River at Edwardsport. * WHEN...Until Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS...At 18.6 feet, INDOT may close SR 358 between SR 67 at Edwardsport to SR 57 at Plainville due to flooding. SR 358 floods on the east side of the river between the levees. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM EDT Monday /6:00 PM CDT Monday/ the stage was 19.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:00 PM EDT Monday /6:00 PM CDT Monday/ was 19.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Wednesday morning and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
