Fog has developed across the area this evening. Visibility less than half a mile will be possible, with localized visibility of one quarter mile at times. This fog is expected to linger through later tonight before winds increase and drier air pushes into the region. If traveling, be prepared for rapid changes in visibility.

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation, including light freezing rain expected. The mixed precipitation will mainly be confined to the higher terrain inland from Lake SUperior. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. * WHERE...Southern Lake County. * WHEN...Until 10 AM CDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A light glaze of ice is possible, mainly in the higher terrain inland from Lake Superior and on elevated surfaces.

Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. * WHERE...Northern Cook and Lake and Southern Cook Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Grand Portage Reservation. * WHEN...From 1 AM to 1 PM CDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The main concern is across the higher terrain of the North Shore. Not expecting ice accumulations on Highway 61 or locales adjacent to Lake Superior. The Gunflint Trail should be impacted though. Road temperatures may be warm enough to limit ice accumulations.
