Total snow accumulations between 3 and 7 inches with the highest totals farther south and east. * WHERE...Orange, Windsor and Rutland counties. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute. Areas of blowing snow could further reduce visibilities and make travel more hazardous.

Winter Storm Warning issued January 19 at 1:53PM EST until January 20 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Albany NY

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 8 inches. * WHERE...The mid-Hudson Valley, eastern Catskills, central and southern Taconics, and the Rensselaer Plateau in eastern New York, western Massachusetts, northwest Connecticut, and southern Vermont. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be difficult to impossible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates up to 1 inch per hour are likely, mainly from 4PM to 12AM tonight. Increasing northwest winds gusting up to 20mph after Midnight tonight combined with chilly temperatures will result in wind chills or "feel-like temperatures" in the single digits with sub-zero readings for elevations 1000 feet and higher.
