At 915 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms 10 miles south of Dayton, moving southeast at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Cleveland, Benton, Etowah, Charleston, South Cleveland, East Cleveland, Wildwood Lake, Calhoun, Riceville, and Waterville.

Flood Advisory issued September 21 at 7:49AM EDT until September 21 at 10:45AM EDT by NWS Morristown TN

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southwestern Loudon County in east Tennessee... Northeastern McMinn County in east Tennessee... East Central Meigs County in east Tennessee... Northwestern Monroe County in east Tennessee... South Central Roane County in east Tennessee... * WHEN...Until 1045 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 749 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
