Flood Warning issued April 30 at 5:33AM CDT until April 30 at 8:30AM CDT by NWS Huntsville AL

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of north central Alabama along the Indian Creek, including the following county, Madison. * WHEN...Until 830 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 527 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Northwestern Huntsville, Madison, Redstone Arsenal, Triana, Marshall Space Flight Center and Harvest. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

This will cause small stream flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Parrish, Gorgas, Gorgas Steam Plant, Whitson, The Wye, Wiley, Tutwiler, Windham Springs and Goodsprings.
