Southern York County in south central Pennsylvania... * Until 1015 PM EDT. * At 715 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen earlier today. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Hanover, York, Weigelstown, Parkville, Red Lion, Spry, Dallastown, Shiloh, East York, Stonybrook-Wilshire, West York, Littlestown, Codorus, Grantley, Tyler Run-Queens Gate, McSherrystown, Valley View, Hallam, Emigsville and Spring Grove.

Philadelphia County in southeastern Pennsylvania... * WHEN...Until 930 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 641 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated an area of very heavy rainfall across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
