* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 5 to 8 feet with sets up to 10 feet on west-facing beaches. * WHERE...San Diego County Coastal Areas. * WHEN...Until 4 AM PST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Minor flooding is possible in low-lying areas along the beach, such as beach parking lots. Surf diminishes this evening, but local sets to 8 feet are possible through early Sunday.

Dangerous rip currents. * WHERE...Ventura County Beaches. * WHEN...Until 3 PM PST this afternoon. * IMPACTS...There is an increased risk for ocean drowning. Rip currents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Large breaking waves can cause injury, wash people off beaches and rocks, and capsize small boats near shore.

At 16.0 feet, Glide In Ranch is completely flooded. At 19.0 feet, Mound Farms and Senator Outing Duck Club are flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:15 PM PST Friday the stage was 19.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2:15 PM PST Friday was 19.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.6 feet late this afternoon. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 19.7 feet on 03/26/2011. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
