Cattle grazing river bottomland should be moved to higher ground. At 16.0 feet, Extensive farmland and river bottomland around and downstream from Chappells become flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:15 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 13.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 14.9 feet this evening. Great Pee Dee River At Pee Dee affecting Marion and Florence Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Great Pee Dee River at Pee Dee. * WHEN...Until early Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Flood waters will affect swamplands and logging interests. Flood waters will affect timberland as far downstream as Yauhannah two weeks after the crest passes Pee Dee. Logging equipment needs to be moved. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 18.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 19.9 feet tomorrow evening. * WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of central South Carolina, including the following counties, east central Bamberg and south central Orangeburg. * WHEN...Until 200 PM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1010 AM EDT, river gages showed water levels were still slowly rising south of Orangeburg along the North Fork of the Edisto River and southeast of Bamberg along the South Fork of the Edisto River. These elevated flood waters will work through the Edisto River over the next few days resulting in flooding along and near the river. Although widespread, major flooding is unlikely, water may approach or impact homes, structures and roadways along the river. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... At 119.0 feet, Extensive flooding occurs in the Congaree National Park. Some area farmland is flooded. Congaree River At Carolina Eastman affecting Lexington, Calhoun and Richland Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Congaree River at Congaree River at Congaree NP Near Gadsden. * WHEN...Until Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Flooding begins in the Congaree National Park. This will begin to produce flooding of portions of the lower boardwalk. At 17.0 feet, The access road to the Sandy Run subdivision becomes flooded. The lower boardwalk in the Congaree National Park becomes flooded by Cedar Creek. At 18.0 feet, Several homes in the Sandy Run subdivision along the river become flooded. At 18 feet the river covers the Weston Lake overlook in the Congaree National Park. Between 18 and 18.5 feet the river begins to cover sections of the elevated boardwalk. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 17.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 AM EDT Thursday was 17.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Saturday afternoon and continue falling to 8.8 feet Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast South Carolina, including the following counties, Colleton and Dorchester. * WHEN...Until 200 PM EDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1225 PM EDT, river gages along the Edisto River north of Givhans Ferry showed water levels were slowly rising. Water levels will continue to rise over the next few days as water caused by rainfall earlier in the week drains into the Edisto River and nearby waterways. Although widespread, major flooding will not occur, water may approach or impact homes, structures and roadways along the river this week. Some roadways that may be impacted include Biscayne Court. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Cat Hole and Springtown.
