At 906 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Jayess to 6 miles west of Enon to near Springfield. Movement was east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Hammond, Bogalusa, Picayune, Covington, Franklinton, Ponchatoula, Abita Springs, Tylertown, Varnado, Madisonville, Folsom, Springfield, Sun, Lacombe, Enon, Crossroads, Robert, Bush, Salem, and Dexter. This includes the following Interstates... Interstate 12 between mile markers 35 and 75. Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 14 and 33.
